CAPE + (trapped person alarm box)

The main function of the Eliwell CAPE+ box is to indicate the presence of a closed person, in accordance with the NFE 35400 standard.
It is equipped with an emergency push button, an audible and visual alarm placed outside the room
It alerts you if the door is open and if there is a gas leak (via an optional LKD detector).

The CAPE+ is a box set made up of two parts:
a box to be placed outside the cold room equipped with a backup battery and a siren with a strobe flash to sound the alert.

This box can signal the following alarms:

• Alarm in case of person locked in cold room (mandatory device on all negative cold rooms of more than 10 m3). The person signals his presence by activating the emergency stop button(s) present in the cold room enclosure.
• Alarm in case of open door. A time delay is used to signal if the cold room door has been forgotten to close.
• Alarm in case of refrigerant gas leakage by connecting an LKD leak detector (optional).
• Alarm in case of discharged backup battery.

In the event of a power failure, the box is powered by the sealed lead battery.
